Starting Something New!!

Since closing down my pottery business and going into business with my sister at QKR Rubber Stampede.......I have also been busy helping my husband and brother-in-law get their little hobby business on it's feet.  They call themselves "two old sap's" and they are making PMS 100% Pure Maple Syrup.

Their label which says it all!
Just a few of the sizes...Quart, Pint and Jelly Jar.

The mandatory label.
This is a 12 oz Jug for $8.00 and we have a 16 oz Jug for $10.00.  As I am closing down this site soon....I will be opening a new site "Old Sap's PMS Pure Maple Syrup".  You can also find us on Facebook under the same name.
100 % Pure Maple Syrup from our neck of the woods to your kitchen!!

Windsong

The big kiln, rolling table, clay, and most of my equipment is sold.  All I have left to sell is some glazes and two smaller kilns....which I will get around to this coming spring.  My facebook page is closing down and I am veering off on a new page Windsong Inc.  I will be making stamps and keeping up with the whereabouts of Stamp On It, Inc., lot's of journaling ideas, kid's crafts, quilting and many more creative things.  Eventually I am also closing down my blog....just because pottery is on the pages of past history for me.  Looking forward to a great new year....blessings!

Bailey Kiln Model LT-3K-H with kiln sitter

Model LT-3K-H Bailey high fire kiln, with kiln sitter.   Max temp 2350 F.  The kiln is 20 1/2" with a 19" extension.  I bought the kiln brand new and my husband (electrician) has maintained it the whole time.  It is plugged in and still working.  It has 7  27" half moon shelves and all the posts included. A couple of the shelves are warped and should be replaced.   The fire brick are all in good condition.  The lid shows some cracks but nothing is loose.  Asking $650.00.  Message me if interested.  Judy

Selling my pottery tools....Slab Roller, Extruder, and Kiln.

After over 30 years of doing pottery I am calling it quits.  I have for sale my Brent SR 36 slab roller with a Bailey extruder attached to the table.  The rolling table is a double pass and is in very good condition.   The extruder has all the dies and they are stainless.  And I am happy to report that I have sold the slab roller and extruder.  They will be moving on to a new artist soon.

Old Window Photo Display....Moments.

Old window photo display...Moments.... upper right and left pane are missing and wire goes across both rows of windows.  Can be hung securely from the wire or the hinges.  This would make for a great display of black and white photos too.  It will be for sale at Not So Shabby in Holland as of 4/15/14. Sold the black window, but have an identical window in Not So Shabby now and it's white...same price... $45.00.
Handmade tiles can be found on Etsy.

Going Green for spring!!

This was my first out-door spring project this year.  Keith and I have lived here for over 20 years and the doors have been burgundy and blue....pretty mellow.  Well, I took a big leap and tried "New Advocado" from the Lowe's new spring colors.  No one quite believes me, but I used a free sample jar and did the door and the side lights.  Also updated the door handles with some $1.00 cans of black spray paint that were only missing their caps.  For that price if it is still too wild for Keith in the fall I can change it up again. :-)

Reclaimed, recycled, reused......

A unique bench/hutch using a old table, screen door and a bread box...makes for a very useful piece of furniture for the house, deck, porch or patio.

Bread box opens for even more storage and a wire with clothes pins for display.

Add a little glitz to the porch/patio during the day and a little ambiance at night.  Solar lights charge during the day, shine at night.

Bookcase made from all reclaimed lumber...shabby chic white.   The bench and chandelier are sold and the white bookcase can be seen and purchased at Not So Shabby in Holland MI>
