for his wife many years earlier. I refuse to pay the big $$$ for the specialty paints, glazes and wax, so I found some customer rejects for $3 a qt at Lowe's, made my own glaze and used Minwax to wax it. Now we like it so much better that we don't want to sell it right now...so it will live in our basement for a few more years and the copper really shines with the blue and gray color.
Windsong Inc. It's new. It's not pottery anymore. Retired. Now it's junk journaling and rubber stamping.

Hutch with a new coat!!
My husband found this hutch at a garage sale a couple of years ago and we used it to display all of his copper pieces. It was just an ordinary dark brown stained hutch that someone had actually hand made

Bowling alley bar top....without the bowling balls please...
We still have some finishing to do, but we are very happy that we finally did it. Another project almost off the list and just in time for Christmas and all the grandkids.
And the really nice thing is that my old bar stools are wood and all we have to do is cut a couple inches off each leg and they are reusable.

Christmas Open House at Not So Shabby in Holland, MI. November 8...4pm til 8pm and then on Saturday November 9...10am til 5pm. The store will be closed Nov. 8 until 4pm and then we will open the doors at 4pm. The store will be packed to the brim with Christmas decor and gifts, yummy things to eat, door prizes and a grand prize drawing. And if that isn't the best...lots of vendors will also have sales. Plan now for a great day of shopping and browsing.
